A 24 year old native of Starkville Mississippi USA, has married her 85 year old boyfriend, Charles Pogue. The bride, Miracle Pogue neé Phillips, revealed that they met in 2019 where she worked at a laundromat and quickly formed a friendship while Charles proposed to her in February 2020. Miracle further stated that at the time she met Charles, she had been unaware that he was this old. She claimed that she had assumed he was in his 60s because he did not look his age. Charles is a decade older than Miracle's grandfather.

Miracle also revealed that the couple is looking to begin IVF procedures in order for Charles to experience fatherhood for the first time. She stated that her mother Tamika Phillips and grandfather Joe Brown were supportive of her relationship from the beginning , while her father, Kareem Phillips was harder to convince.
