Why Peter Obi Visited Bishop David Oyedepo On His Birthday

The presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi, yesterday, 19th of July, commemorated his 61st birthday.

Despite the unquantifiable birthday messages he got from low and high Nigerians, the highly regarded former governor of Anambra State, did not abide by the usual hysteria that characterizes a high profile figure as himself commemorating his birthday.

Interestingly, while he received prayers from Nigerians offline and online, Mr. Peter paid a visit to the bishop of Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo at the church's headquarters, Sango Ota, Lagos State.

It is reported that Mr. Peter Obi decided to celebrate his birthday with the vociferous and respected pastor to formally inform him about his presidential ambition as well as to seek birthday blessing from the respected bishop.

Recall that a few days ago, Bishop Oyedepo while commenting on the dwindling fortune of Nigeria, noted that in Canaanland  there has not been power outage for over 24 years.

Hence, Mr. Peter Obi who has been particular about lack of steady electricity in Nigeria, might be considering replicating bishop Oyedepo's electricity feat nationwide, if elected the president of Nigeria.
