Virginity Test and Certificates: South African Church Conducts Virginity Test on Single Female Members

A South African Church named Nazareth Baptist Church located in Ebuhleni, Northern Durban has gone viral for conducting virginity tests on their single female worshippers. The church went further to issue certificates to the girls who passed the test.

According to the spokesperson for the church, the test is a means to encourage chastity amongst ladies in the society. Some people wonder why they are not ensuring  same for gentlemen worshippers in the church. Sometimes, religion is a thing called hypocrisy. 

Apparently, the virginity test is conducted annually and is free for all female members of the church from the age of 18. At the end of the exercise, certificates are issued to successful candidates. Surely, ignorance isn't to be blamed?
