Amongst the brouhaha going on in Nigeria, a reason to celebrate has been given to its citizens. As at March 2022, Nigeria’s passport could access 45 countries in the world visa-free but as at today, the 21st July, 2022, the passport can access 46 countries in the world visa free. This addition is worth celebrating.
Henley & Partners, a global citizenship and residence advisory firm based in London published the rating. The index of the rating is updated throughout the year as visa policy changes.
Nigeria moved up three places to the 100th out of 116 countries. Though, this still place it among the least powerful in Africa. Below are the countries that are visa-free for Nigerians.
