More Probelms For Russia As Sweden And Finland Inclusion Into NATO Is Rectified.

 

The die is cast. Turkey, Finland and Sweden have signed the agreement to end whatever it is that is making Turkey perturb Finland and Sweden from joining NATO.

So, what does this mean for Russia who invaded Ukraine and cited them joining NATO was one of the reasons.

Will they now invade Finland or Sweden or both? Let’s not sugar coat things, does this not mean that Russia will be in trouble soon? Is this not a bigger advantage for the NATO Allies and the world to now be able to hold Putin accountable for the too many war crimes reported happening in Ukraine already.  

For whatever offence that may be there by Ukraine or alleged by Russia, isn’t it obvious that Putin’s reaction by invading Ukraine has seen a NO NO nod from heads all over the world? But yet strikes by Russian military continued, for what Putin called to "demilitarise and de-Nazify Ukraine".

His declared aim was to protect people subjected to what he called eight years of bullying and genocide by Ukraine's government. And then you begin to ask yourself, how? How are there Nazis in Ukraine? Why would want to demilitarize a sovereign nation whose military does not even have upto 20% your own military’s might?

The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres at the beggining of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine cried blue murder and even did a video, pleading that President Putin should recall his troops for humanity sake. Watchthat VIDEO HERE But did Putin listen? No he didn’t.

Back here in Nigeria Putin seems to have many sympathizers or supporters even though they don’t matter, but that’s because many Nigerians are easily captivated with conspiracy theories. If you found a Nigerian supporting Putin, they will tell you Ukraine wanted to join NATO and Putin does not want that because America will now build a military base in Ukraine to monitor Russia. It usually takes extra efforts to explain to them that Norway is a country that also boarders Russia and Norway is a member of NATO and if owning a military base is the aim of NATO or U.S, They could do that in Norway who is already a member of NATO as they boarders Russia too.

It would take extra efforts to explain to them that the invasion is senseless, more senseless than the George Bush invasion of Iraq. Atleast for America’s invasion of Iraq, Saddam Hussein contributed to the fueling and challenge George Bush to the war. But in the case of Ukraine invasion, Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky the Ukrainian president made efforts for peace. He never challenged Putin to the war.

So let’s ask our Nigerian friends that think Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is because they wanted to join NATO. Since Putin invaded Ukraine because they wanted to join NATO, what are they going to do to Sweden and Finland now that the die is cast?
