Kuje Prison Jailbreak: Abba Kyari Breaks Silence, Recounts Ordeal And How It Happened

 Abba Kyari who some Nigerians says they doubt he is in Kuje Prison finally brekas silence, maybe to clear doubts that he is not in custody. 

The nation was thrown into confusion Tuesday night the 5th of July 2022 as suspected ISWAP terrorists attacked the famous Kuje Prison in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, in the process, freed over 60 terrorists in the facility.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, who is currently bidding his time at the prison over corruption allegations while recounting his ordeal gave an account of how over 300  terrorists had a field day at the prison facility without interruption.

In his words: ‘’Only God saved us today (yesterday). For over two hours and 45 minutes, more than 300 terrorist took over the Kuje prison in Abuja with GPMGs, Bombs, RPGs, Many Rifles etc...

‘’The total population of the Kuje Prison inmates is about 1,476, and only 111 of the inmates refused to escape and decided to remain in the prison as 90 percent escaped.

‘’Those that decided not to escape include former governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba State, Farouk lawal, Abba Kyari and four of his officers, retired AVM and also 107 other inmates who have less than three months to finish their jail term.’’
