A while ago, we brought news of the engagement of Life Coach, Writer and Former King of Feminists, Solomon Buchi to his London Baby, Áríké Adéolá.
On 25 July, 2022, in a romantic post to his fiancee, Solomon Buchi started the message by saying " You're not the most beautiful woman; neither are you the most intelligent woman..." This opening sentence was considered a big goof and faux pas by many women across Africa as they vehemently condemned it as disrespectful and belittling. Many even went to the point of telling his fiancee to break up with him.
Buchi's female followers and readers who read the post also called him out on being hypocritical as he had once posted something about not belittling your partner in the guise of praise. It should be worthy of note that the woman Solomon Buchi tagged "not the most intelligent" is a first-class graduate in mathematics/actuarial science. As a result of the vehement backlash and reactions by female readers who sent messages to Áríké Adéolá asking her to break up with Solomon, the two lovebirds resorted to locking the comment section of both their Facebook pages.
