R Kelly Sentenced To 30 Years For Sex Trafficking

Judge Ann Donnelly while delivering the sentence, slammed 30 years imprisonment and an additional five years of supervised release and a $100,000 fine to R Kelly.

The 'Storm is over' singer was in September 2021 found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking charges stemming from a decades-long practice of recruiting and grooming girls and young women for illegal sex.

Judge Donnelly condemned Mr Kelly for the "serial rape and sexual abuse" he was said to have perpetrated on his victims.

“These crimes were calculated and carefully planned and regularly executed for almost 25 years. You taught them that love is enslavement and violence. These victims were disposable to you, and you left in your wake a trail of broken lies,” the judge said.
